Sunday School & Bible Class (Pre-School to Leaving School)

Sunday School welcomes children from Nursery School age upwards, and through the various sections of Sunday School and Bible Class takes young people right up to when they are leaving school. Its aim is to provide a Christian environment in which children and young people will be nurtured and helped to develop in their knowledge of God's love and purpose:

• Communicating biblical Christian teaching in ways that are stimulating and challenging.
• Showing love and care to all the children and young people in Christ's name and building relationships so they feel valued and respected.
• Addressing doctrinal topics at age appropriate levels.
• Encouraging interest in, and support for overseas missionary projects.

From time to time Sunday school children participate in Church services; they receive book tokens for Sunday School attendance and a Bible when they move from the Primary to Junior section of the Sunday School. There is usually an annual Christmas party, and the Summer Outing usually links into the Fun Day organised by PC] in May.

We depend on the support of parents in helping their children to be regular and punctual for Sunday School. For its part, Sunday School will endeavour to declare the love and way of God, effectively, by word and deed.
